Leicester Social Forum

Following a packed public meeting on the threats from government to education in the city - including privatisation in the hands of capita or their ilk - a Leicester Campaign to Support Our Schools has been set up.

It has the support of the Education Forum, Leicester Social Forum, Leicester and District Trades Council, NUT, NASUWT, Unison, GMB, ATL, ASCL, PAT and UCU Ace branch and University branch.
Already a number of Head teachers have signed up to support the campaign. We would hope to add NAHT and the Governors association COLGA in the near future.
